This shows where we walk and meet the ravens
The yellow and pink squiggly lines are two walks we take. The yellow one is the one we usually do. The squigglyness indicates how Madame visits her several important sniffing check-points!
We stop several times to feed the ravens, and you can see where they come from.

If you right-click on the image and open it in a new tab, you can then zoom in to see more details.

Tuesday, Dec 21st, 2010 - WINTER SOLSTICE

The snow we had yesterday was frozen over during the night, and Miss Sophie came back indoors from her first outing in the back yard, licking her hind leg and looking worried.

So we stayed indoors.
The icicles meanwhile have been growing, even my small ones are now a good ten inches long while those on other houses are two feet ...

No sun, no wind, grey sky and cold - don't know yet what we'll do tomorrow ...

Hi {Yma} - well at least we can now properly complain about the weather THIS WINTER! LOL!
It is, from all reports on this side of the Pond, bloody awful on your side of the Pond!
Please stay safe and warm - cuddle up with Miss Sophie and learn to "yowl" along with her!!

Hiya, {rw} - well, it is winter, innit, so it is supposed to be cold, even snowy!
What makes it so bad is that those responsible for our roads and streets are not doing their job properly.

At least Miss Sophie is not too fussed about being out, and unlike other Border Collies is happy to stay inside on the sofas.

We're pretty good at howling at each other - one day I'll find out if I can tape it for posterity ... and any online audience happy to hear us!
