This shows where we walk and meet the ravens
The yellow and pink squiggly lines are two walks we take. The yellow one is the one we usually do. The squigglyness indicates how Madame visits her several important sniffing check-points!
We stop several times to feed the ravens, and you can see where they come from.

If you right-click on the image and open it in a new tab, you can then zoom in to see more details.

June 14th

In memoriam of my beloved husband, who died five years ago today.

And in memoriam of my dearest friend Anne, who died a year ago today.

Also remembering Big Dog and Madame Dog, who died during these five years.

We just went for a stroll, both morning and afternoon, remembering and giving thanks for the joy, the laughter, and the privilege of sharing their lives for their allotted time.

Sunday, June 13th

The morning was still summery, albeit rather fresh and overcast - but the forecast rain had not yet arrived.

Having left the house at 6.50 a.m., we went for the same walk as yesterday. The same 'Roman' raven came, this time from one of the big lime trees near the tree with the nest.
He was very skittish again, but did pick up the couple of scraps I'd thrown for him.

In Pontcanna fields there were some crows, but no ravens where we walked - the same walk as yesterday, omitting the suspension bridge.

Instead we collected lots of different grasses and wild flowers.
